Basquiat’s estate’s “King Pleasure” exhibition introduced a collection of Basquiat-inspired fashion. Named “Those Who Dress Better” (after Basquiat’s popular “those who dress better can receive Christ”), nine Black designers curated by Black Fashion Fair: Taofeek Abijako (Head of State), Brandon Blackwood, Shanel Campbell (Bed on Water), Keith Herron (Advisory), Antoine Manning (Homage Year), Anifa Mvuemba (Hanifa), Johnny Nelson and Edvin Thompson (Theophilio) presented their showcases.
