ABOUT THE BRAND
Florentina Leitner is an Austrian fashion designer graduated with a master’s degree from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Leitner’s collections whose ethos is anchored on a sustainable approach are elegant with a very playful twist.
Florentina Leitner was on Dries van Noten’s design team before setting up her own label at the end of 2020. Stars like Kylie Jenner, Lady Gaga and Charli XCX have worn her creations. Awards Leitner received include IFF Award – Perfume Concept Design for MARC JACOBS (2019), Costume Design for Tom Eerebout (stylist of Lady Gaga) for popstar (2020) and Global Design Graduate Show 2020, in collaboration with Gucci, Arts Threads and I-D magazine – Womenswear category (2020). The brand debut FW20 collection at London Fashion Week show, SS21 collection at the Fashion Week Russia – Global Talent Digital, and FW21 collection at NYFW’s Runway360.
And in 2021, as one of today’s most promising young designers, Leitner was invited to open Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, with her SS22 “Vacation on the Moon’ collection that she called “semi couture.” During the Paris Fashion Week, the brand showcased a full collection at Tranoi held at Palais des Tokyo.
