Since 2003, private charity Born Free Africa has been fighting to end the transmission of AIDS from mothers to children by December 2015. The charity has support from many partners including cosmetics brand M.A.C., and the organization has now asked 23 female fashion designers to collaborate on an exclusive capsule collection. Miuccia Prada, Victoria Beckham and Alberta Ferretti are among the designers creating a series of ready-to-wear pieces and accessories for women and young girls using prints by Kenyan artist Wangechi Mutu. The collection will go on sale exclusively on the Shopbop website on April 23, with pieces by Isabel Marant, Donatella Versace, Chloé Creative Director Clare Waight Keller, Stella McCartney, Phoebe Philo and Donna Karan. A philanthropic collection for both mommy and daughter. via
